I wanted to share a few pics of my H2's progression from when I bought it 6 months ago until now. Im in the process of trying to black it out. I gave up some nice billet pieces for stock items in that process which sucks. But that chrome billet was already pitting up like a mofo, so not hat big of a deal.
Where she was when I bought her, 36's with 20" wheels and alot of chrome

After Fabtech 6" lift and 38x15.5x18.....still alot of chrome

As it sits today, just popped new wheels on yesterday
Moto Metal 18x10 961's, 38" MTZ's, winch bumper added, and linexed the front and rear bumpers, plastics, etc....

Still need to paint the mirror caps and get the billet hood piece powdercoated black, then I am done.....or at least I think so, is it ever done!

love the new rims!
:perfect10s:
My only suggestion, take it or leave it, is to ditch the tube steps. try and find a set of limited edition steps or maybe U-steps but i gurantee once you get rid of those it will look much taller and beefier
lookin good though :beerchug:

Yeah, I was sketchy on the wheels until I saw them in person. You cant beat them for the price. I already had the 38's with lots of meat, so I wanted to keep 18" wheels. Im pleased with them for sure.
The guy I traded my chrome stuff to gav e me these tube steps to replace the ones that I gave him with the chrome steps. I debated on leaving them off, but my kids need them to get in. I had a lead on some of the LE steps, but it fell through on me. Im still searching for a set.

the winch bumper looks excellent as do the fender flares! great lift as well....definitly made the truck look a lot better! and i agree with big.z the tube steps would add a different look and definitly make the truck look higher

Nice job with the Line-X...a truck after my own heart (http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41203)
Agreed...you are lucky as hell to find the BA bumper winch...I thought I got the last one.
Have you thought about getting the flares and connecting trim pieces Line-Xed? Just a suggestion...it would help pull everything together. Good thing you got a lift...that'll help you keep those mud flaps on the truck after a steep departure. That was one of the reasons I didn't go with those...
I wanna know about your door handles too...are they OEM or did you get yours sprayed?
Good job...nice looking truck.

Thanks for the compliments, I have owned alot of vehicles, this has been one of my favorites so far for sure.
I fell into the winch bumper. I sold my old wheels and tires to a local guy who had just bought a black H2. While we were throwing my wheels on his truck I was admiring his winch bumper. the bumper itself needed to be painted (or linexed :p ). He was saying how he wanted a rear spare tire mount, just so happens I just pulled mine off the truck and didnt really plan on putting it back on. I offered him the rear swing out spare mount and my stock spare for the winch bumper set up. I was also telling him that I wanted to get rid of all of the chrome pieces. He came back to me with an offer of the spare mount and all of my chrome for the winch bumper and his stock black pieces. Done deal. I didnt want the chrome anyhow, and I really wanted that bumper!!
By the way, the door handle buckets are stock off of his H2, all black, not painted.

Hey did you ever think about line-x ing the mirrors? The more black the better!

I was going to sand them down and paint them first and see how that comes out. If I dont like it I might get them linexed, its quick and ez enough to do for sure.

Big Z. I took your advice......the tube steps are off the truck as of today, the LE steps are on. I fell into them from a fellow forum member while trying to sell my billet hood vent. This is probably the best $235 I have spent. It really changes the look, definitely makes it look taller and overall just cleaner look.
Im extremely happy with them.....
Now im waiting for my new black billet hood vent, and black billet gas cap cover to arrive and I am set for awhile......at least until I get more funds into my play account.

I think I need to move the front one up, I need to search out some pics of some others. I bolted it up where it looked like it should go, but after getting in and out a bunch of times today, I think its too far back
