I know the H3 is on a Canyon/Colorado Chassis.
I was wondering if you could take the H3 to any GM service center. The Hummer dealership service pricing seems a bit much for routine service. Can any GM dealership perform Hummer service or will I have to go through Hummer dealership only or other GM vehicle type service center?

You can take it to any dealer for routine maintenance, but only a Hummer dealer can perform warranty work.
There is a little bit of premium when dealing with a Hummer service center, but each technician has had extensive training specifically for the Hummer, as it has an overall more heavy duty assembly.
The H3 is about 90% new parts, just for the record, they didn't just drop the body onto a Canyon/Colorado.

The frame starts aa a Colorado/Canyon, but then it is boxed and two additional cross members are added.

Here in Bakersfield, the Chevy dealer does the Hummer work BUT, they have the required Hummer dude on staff, properly trained.

Tim and Ken,
I did my homework on the H3 and this is where I found the info.
the H3 will be built on the chassis of the new Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon compact pickups.

You two should get knocked off this site for your foul posts.
I joined to get help as a new owner and not castigated by other fellow Hummer owners.
