53480I was driving down the road at 55 and a lady turned right in front of me she had a green light but not an arrow. She received a ticket. Just got released from the hosptal and took these pics. It is a total loss frame bent engin and transmission pushed way back no hope. Just put 10000 in a new lift and rims and tires think that might be a battle with her insurance company for me to try and recover the exspense of the lift and rims and tires. She had insurance with Geico so we will see. Here are the before and after pics

OUCH... that F...in sucks. Glad your alive. At that speed it could have been real bad. Looks like ya bounced your head off the windshield. Is that what you went to the hospital for?

Wow good thing your ok! I can't believe she is ! These things r Kim tanks rolling down the road! Do us here a favor and buy it back from insurance company and part it out!! If you do please let me know as I need a ton of parts! Lol good to hear your ok though!

OMFG! I'm so sorry that happened! Glad you're ok!! for 55mph that thing held like a tank!!! WOW.

Good luck with your insurance man! At least you could still sell the wheels and tires for a really good price if you buy it back from the insurance co.

wow, yeah, what did you hit? no way another vehicle could have done that to your hummer.

It's a shame to think there's one less H2 in the world that will never come back :(

Hi that sucks, glad to hear your ok. I know what your going through and how you feel i got rear ended on my harley about 15 to 20 mph on friday night about 6 pm. I have a very very sore neck and bad headaches. Also $7000 to $10000 damage it sucks.

Glad you are OK and you were in a big vehicle like an H2. My cousin was not so lucky and was in a Corolla and has walked with a limp for 10 years after a slower speed crash. Things can be replaced, but people can't. Our body expert, Orange Crush, can give you his opinion, but sometimes, I think insurance companies are too fast to declare a vehicle totalled. Frames can be straightened! What hit the windshield? Did you get air bag burns?

That is a downer, but glad you are OK! Just be glad you were in an H2! My wife got hit head on in our white 2004 six years ago by a driver that fell asleep in a Cadillac and she walked away with just a broken wrist. The police said that if she would have been in almost any other car she would have probably died. You couldn't get my wife and kids in any other car now other than an H2!

Glad to hear you are OK and your H2 was the only casualty. I agree with the others, H2's are tanks.

That SUCKS! Hate to see a "brother" SUT get into an accident, but I'm glad that you were OK!! Good luck with your insurance, hopefully they'll count the new lift and tires in the value.

53528Well finally settled with the insurance company. GEICO SUCKS..I just couldnt bring myself to get another Hummer. Mine was exactly like I wanted it and had too much money and time and dont have the energy to try and replicate it. I got another SUV today that isnt a Hummer but I like it anyway.

Why did they total the H2? Do you have the option to buy it back? I?d buy that in a heartbeat. I?ve got extra hoods and parts.

Opening post says bent frame. Engine and tranny lost. Not to mention all the other parts, would probably be much cheaper just to get a new one.

Sorry about your loss, glad you made it out ok though.

Just last month my '03 took a frontal 50-75 mph (in a 40 mph zone) impact while sitting at a stoplight...enough to push me back 10-15 feet.:crying:

Just got a 2006 Limited Edition last week. Like nothing else.
