For sh!ts and giggles...
What, if anything, do you think is going to happen on Friday, December 21, 2012?

Well, I would hope it comes and goes just like any other day.
BUT, of the sheeeet hits the fan, and the dead re-animate, I'm grabbing my guns and heading for the nearest Cabelas or Gander Mtn, to stock up on ammo, MRE's and cannisters for fuel and H20. Maybe head for the woods in Maine? or Canada?

It would have been nice if the Doomsdayers would have been smart enough to factor in that Leap Years were only implemented 500 years ago. Stupid ****s. :giggling:

Maybe they were just predicting the release of "The Hobbit"

For those of us old enough to remember the original prediction was for 12-18-1963, but when it didn't happen they said they had misread the Mayan calendar and it was going to be 12-21-2008, but no big deal was made of it then, however two years ago a research paper from the Archeology Department at a major Universiy by a renowned professor said it was 2012 and it made the news. How do I know this? My daughter is a professor of Archeology and specializes in Mayan, Incan and Aztec lore. She says the whole thing gives archeologists a bad name.

Maybe they were right the first time...12-18-1963 comes up as Brad Pitt's birthday...maybe he's the Anti-Christ sent to usher in the Apocalypse?!

I'm still here and the world has not ended, except for the snow and wind we're getting right now. As we all know, the H2 is a lot to handle in 40 mph crosswinds and it was gusting even higher driving into the office this morning.

Well...I'm definitely disappointed. I expected 'something'...even a paranoid freakout...and I got nothing.

Okay...well, give the 'doomsdayers' some time, they'll come up with another day...movie theme...whatever.

Well, at least I hope we get a good winter; with lots of snow.
