Hello.

Newbie here. Just picked up my first Truck / SUV ever, and it?s a 2009 Hummer H3 Black ? stock with a lot of options. A few questions please ?. What are the popular parts people add / change out? I want to add a Wench to the front Grill and larger wheels / tires, but not sure which ?. ? Also, I want to lift here a little. I found youtube vids that shows kinda what I want to do:

Rock Star Wheels look good but are they high quality? And which Tires should I go with?

Thanks in Advance :)

Welcome...nice ride.

What parts to swap out would all depend on what you plan on doing with your ride. Sounds like your going for the more rugged look; tires, rims, and winch will do the trick. Maybe lose the nerf bars and slap on some rock rails.

I'm definitely no H3 aficionado but I think I've read that you can get 35s under your rig with no additional modification. Rockstars are solid rims...they get a lot of flack on this site simply because so many members rock them on H2s; but if you like their look, go for it.

Tires...I always recommend BFG either ATs (which will last you forever) or MTs which have a more aggressive look.

I wish I could offer more help; but I've got a 2; and, unfortunately, I don't see much action on the H3 section of this forum any more either.

I told ya...the H3 community isn't that active on this forum.
It's more 8 lug action around these parts.

Most of the info you seek is already here...

Use the search function for specifics. Then come back for details.

Nice Pics!
