I will be able to do a test soon! I hear my sister-in-law's boyfriend *I am not a big fan of him* is getting one.
what a toilet.
Any requests for testing?

I saw a Commander for the first time last week, what a joke! Jeep's entire line-up is going down hill fast.

I saw my first one a week or so ago. Man that thing is ugly IMO. I also so a show from the Dallas Auto Show a while back and they were asking people that were looking at it if they would buy one. Everyone said they were initially interested in it but after getting in, they decided they didn't want one anymore. I guess the seating and room are terrible.

3 years of production or less then it will be gone. Too little too late. When are they going to re-design the wrangler?

I have a close friend who owns Doge, Chrysler, and Jeep Dealer. I think that is the 3 brands. Jeep for sure. He is in a smaller area as far as population and I called Him today just to ask Him about the Commander. He said He was worried but, everyone that rolls of a truck is gone when it hits the ground. What I or He does not understand is this is in an outdoorsman paradice and did not see where the new rig would be helpful arround them.
OH Well go figure?

Our H2 dealer has one and the owner won't even let them try it on the Hummer track. He said when they first got it they asked to take it over with an H3 right behind to show the difference but they couldn't get the insurance to do so. HA HA HA

The Commander looks like a culmination of all jeep vehicles. Looks like Jeep just raided the parts bin to come up with something slightly larger to sell.

Back in the day I got to ride in one that had a few mods (chip, intake, locked rear-end, etc). It was amazingly quick for a V6. The owner used to make 'vette owners cry.

By the way, I've only seen pictures of the Jeep Commander. But from what I've seen, it looks just like a reworked Jeep Cherokee. I think they made a mistake doing away with the Cherokee, and now they are bringing it back as the Commander.
