View Full Version : Bad Hub ? Video ... Help

While I was doing another inspection for the Ball joints I found what in my opinion is a very bad hub but I would like to hear opinion before buying and replacing ...
Also could another part be damage or needed beside the hub

Looks like it to me! In other vehicles of mine that would be more suspension linkage however I don't see anything else moving other than the wheel on the hub.

Just order a Timken Hub ... Will replaced in the next few days . I will post pics and results

ya without a doubt the hub is bad.
lower ball joint looked fine.
didnt notice the upper
45 min job.
check the parts store now for the crush nut for the CV as they arent suppose to be reusable (even tho i do). some places stock them, some dont.

Thanks ..I will check for the nut , just in case isnt usable

Problem fixed . Replaced hub for a timken .
Job was easy . Make sure when installing the splash guard to do it on the right way . I had to do the whole thing twice cause I installed wrong
