You beat me to it! The article on MSNBC says that the punk's lawyer claimed he had a form of autism. . .While I'm content to believe that lefty, pinko, enviro-terrorists are mentally deficient, I'm glad to see the judge refused to use that as a reason to be lenient.
Hopefully, the scumbag will end up having to make vanity license plates for HUMMERS for the whole 6 years!

Can we fIgure out where he's going to prison so we can send cartons of smokes to the other inmates to make sure he gets "special" treatment in the showers every day?

He asks the court for leniency. Believe me, he is not sorry he committed the crime, he's only sorry that he got caught.
He got less than he deserved.

I am so glad to see this dirt bag get some time.
So often these pieces garbage whine and moan to some liberal judge and get off with little or nothing. I hope he has fun in his new home (with his new celly named bubba) http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Guys:
Let me mention that I had a top secret security clearance when I was in the Navy (many years ago).
Our CONVICT friend wanted to be a physicist. Those types of jobs are all linked to some type of government project. He will never get any type of security clearance or be allowed to work with anybody that has one. When he gets out of "the joint" (he's doing "six to eight"), there will be absolutely nothing waiting for him on the outside. He's ruined his life and now he can live with it.
Once again, he's not sorry he committed the crime, he's just sorry he got caught.

jabbo444 I hope you got to read this one.
You're right GeorgeSSS, he isn't sorry he did it, he's just sorry he got caught, and I agree with Seth! Let's send him Hummer magazines, and maybe a copy of the Bill of Rights.

I like this idea better than the magazines. We want his cell mates to "broaden" his social experience and "bond" with him. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

We'll have to watch and see where he gets sent. The fact that he was convicted of seven counts of arson and one of conspiracy means he might get sent to a maximum security lock up with hardened criminals who will become very friendly with him in the showers. Also, I think he would be close to the bottom of the inmate hiearchy given that he is a first-timer who set fire to SUVs.
If he gets sent to the right institution, he's going to have an interesting time and become really intimate with some really interesting, really large people. Since he's a nerd, whenever he has candy or magazines, the tougher cons will just take them away from him. His arson could have easily killed innocents, so he deserves what he gets.
BTW: The order that he pay $3.5 million in restitution is not dischargable in bankruptcy. That will follow him around for the rest of his life.
