I may be interested but I'm a bit confused, it connects through the hitch correct?

How does it work being that the front hitch pin is verticle, or is it simply just not H2 specific?

Now that Is a good observation. I had bought it for the front but never used it.
I think you are correct about the pin location. Another hole would have to be drilled to use on the front.
I bet this is meant for relocating the rear plate.

Either way I'm sure you will get it to fit fine.
