I just bought my first H2 and noticed that all the forums are dead. Coming from the Honda/Acura forums, its quite the change and I find that information is not as easily available (in my case so far). Hopefully this will change!

LOL...yeah, but there are millions of Honda/Acuras in the US with manufacturing dates that span decades. There was only about 300,000 H2/H3s sold in the US and they were only manufactured over a 7-8 year period. I'm actually surprised that the forums are as active as they are.
This forum is a great resource for troubleshooting simply because of the wealth of historical information. You just need to be willing to search and read on your own sometimes since members don't check-in as often as they used to.
Another good forum is clubhummeroffroad.com (CHO). CHO is a more 'off-road' crowd...and is more H3 centric. It's a little more active over there, and many of the Elcova folks are on that forum too, but it's still not as active as it used to be.

Traded in the H2 for a home in the Keys (I don't care if I ever see mud or snow again) and have been Hummerless for the first time since 2005 and have been having Hummer withdrawal and with all the traffic these days in the Florida Keys I can't let the M5 stretch its legs - have my eye on a 2007 SUT in Miami Lakes.

You still got the best avatar ;-) Hello people.:jump:
Still around, still have my H2, and don't foresee getting rid of it. Guruerror is right, as usual, about the wealth of information in this forum. I fear the day when it will go offline, and I have no doubt that it will, so I'm printing off threads to PDF as much as I can.
Don't mistake the lack of activity on this forum for a lack of relevance, though. The knowledge contained within this site is invaluable to a long-term H1/2/3 owner.

I had unfortunate plans to sell my h2, due to limited space and I bought a new dodge 3500 dually for my towing needs. It was a very very sad time, I really didnt want to sell it but keeping it was not an option. I am happy to say that I am shipping it to my second home and will keep it there FOREVER. Its hard to part with such a vehicle especially since I bought it new.
So I am here but not as active as before...

Still around. Riding my bicycle to work now so the H2 sits all week and is probably mad at me. My wallet is happy though.
We did go camping a couple of weeks ago. I've been spending most of my spare time at www.expeditionportal.com researching M101A3 trailer builds. As you can see below, the H2 can't fit any more camping gear!

I'm still here. I usually look at the forums on a weekly basis. I had a issue with the h2 today. I was trying to put the car into gear and it wouldn't allow me to do it. I did a search here and found out that I had to get to the shifter from underneath and push a little button on the left side of the shifter. It worked and got me home. After digging into the problem I found a broken wire at the connector. This site has great information. :beerchug:

Wow. bump from the past. I'm here. Sold the Hummer in November, 2016. Sad day but it was time. Never owned a vehicle even close to that long, and already had three since I sold the H2. Actually, two weeks ago was car number 4.
Still here! The '08 is up to 107k miles now. Recently replaced wheel bearing hub assemblies. Also new shoes, Nitto Ridge Grappler 37x12.50x20, and they ride so nice compared to the Interco SS M16 I had before. Working on plans to fab a roof rack to replace roof bars. Don't think I'll ever part with her.

Still here in Key Largo! I'm on my 3rd H2. I do a lot of driving off road in the Green Swamp and on some of the beaches in the Florida Keys. Finding low mileage H2s is getting harder and harder. I'm ready for another SUT but all the ones I have looked at had lots of frame rust (probably a result of the salt air down here) or some major issues. I am retired now and put 25,000 miles (minimum) a year on my H2 with a lot of that visiting my son and his family in Telluride, CO. The summer trail is open now at Telluride, but once was enough for me doing that! My wife has the X5, but it doesn't ride as well as the H2 and can't go as many places. I miss Lynch Hummer in Chesterfield, MO.

Still in the Florida Keys and both the 2007 Hummer H2 SUT and the house survived Hurricane Irma! There's a lot to be said for concrete walls and floors and prestressed concrete pillars in a home in the Keys, not to mention impact resistant windows and building on high ground ( in the Keys that means anything above 19 ft msl). The Hummer went places others couldn't go after the storm and it hasn't given me any problems in 6 years (this is H2 number 3). It's become a part of the family!
