Anyone else, with leather interior, get a large static jolt when exiting their vehicle, or is it just me that gets charged up when exiting the vehicle?
I have to admit, I'm amazed, since this is the only vehicle I have ever had with leather interior that I receive a shock from when grapping the door to close it.
The one I got yesterday, could have jumped started the engine with a dead battery. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I've got the cloth and, well, you know. ZAP, everytime i exit. i gotten into the habbit of closing the door with my elbow http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif. I thought the leather would elliminate the static..? always has in my other trucks.
Oh, your not using the original carpet floor mats are you? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif?. I'm gonna end up with those rubber static strips that you old guys used to drag from your "race cars" http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif.

HEY F-Stop !!!
Guess your just lucky ...
3000 miles, leather, NO STATIC
Had a Tahoe loaner for a few days with cloth
XXXXXXXXXXX I've got sore fingers from the static.
Try moving your seat back all the way before exiting, easier to get out and less wear on seat as well as less rubbing between your pants and the seat and hopefully less oe no static .

No zap yet, maybe it's what you were wearing that day. Try to avoid the static when filling at the gas station! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Dress clothes or jeans, dress shoes or tennis shoes. Yes, I always grab the door, shock myself, then fill the tank. Something about becoming a flaming monk does not sound cool. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I get the &%#@ shocked out of me every now and then. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif I think is mostly has to do with the dryness of the winter air. It has happened in all my vehicles as long as I can remember.

No ZAP at all in mine yet. Leather with Husky floor liners. Try getting in and out naked, at least then you could eliminate the wardrobe shock theory.

My other half thinks it funny when I get zapped, because it's all the time.
The best is when you go to touch the light switches in the house!

You need to make up some window stickers with that "guy" and the slogan. Someone on this thread advertises in his signature about vinyl stickers. I'd buy one.
I had a Ride Naked Jeep Sticker on my TJ.

I would totally be into one of those stickers if Calvin and the text were white to go onto tinted windows.
Very cool!!!
edit: is that a watermark on the "naked"?
