i am installing amps and i was wondering were the best place to run the power wire though the fire wall from the battery.. thanks for any help!

under the hood, behind the fuse box. Take the 4 bolts that hold the L-shaped fender brace and you can see the boot where all of the wiring goes through the firewall. It comes into the cabin up and behind the parking brake. It's a 2-sided boot and I used a coat hanger for my fishing-tape(it was just easier).

An alternative if you have trouble seeing/reaching the boot and don't mind drilling is to drill a new hole: Just above the gas pedal to the right is a square recess in the interior firewall insulation. Many of us have drilled this area safely. It comes out on the engine side just under the ground strap near the top center of the engine compartment. So it's very easy to reach and see. If you do this, make sure you grommet it and seal it up really well. Here's a picture from the driver footwell.
