I’m about a year into H2 ownership and I was thinking of taking it off-road, someplace near the Washington DC metropolitan area, specially Northern Virginia.

I’m looking for something at the beginner level. I don’t have a winch, so getting stuck is out of the question.

Any suggestions?

There's some places around Charlottesville. Next time we go to Paragon, do you want to go? It's about 2 1/2 hours north at Hazleton, PA. We always have a blast.

Yep, you're right. You can always get stuck. I'm looking for the bunny slope version of a 4x4 trail.

Getting stuck is never out of the question and it WILL happen no matter how good the driver or how easy the trail.
You don't need a winch but at the very leaste carry a decent strap and try to go with another vehicle capable of pulling an H2 out of a ditch or something.
The best advice I would give anyone starting out is to follow someone who is experienced. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
