Hi

I have just heard that my new Hummer H2 is about to get the Warn Winch bumper system installed at the moment.

This should be done here :

Dealer Name: American Truck & Trailer Supply
Phone: 703-257-1710
Fax: (703) 257-1054
Address: 12000 Balls Ford Road
Manassas, VA 20109

I don't know anything about this shop, but I hope they do an fine job, if anybody is close to this shop, maybe you could drive by a take a few pictures of my new ride.
I haven’t seen it yet. I have been told that I will receive it by the end of January (In Denmark).

Soo much looking forward to getting rid of the Mitsubishi.

I wanted this winch a the dealer ere in Denmark told me it would be a lot easier to get the winch installed before shipping the truck over here, I hope his right.

Do any of you have a switch so you can operate the winch from inside the cabin?

Best Regards
Rene

Rene i live just a few miles from that shop and they do good work from what i hear. i decided to do the install my self cause the price i got on the winch saved close to 800.00 by not getting it through them and doing the work myself. but i have bought a few items from them in the past and have been happy with the purchases

Hi Thanks

I followed my Danish dealers advise to have them mount the winch for the following reason.

1) Save shipping (you can't ship it together with the Hummer if not mounted onto the car, someting about import tax)

2) If shipped into Denmark as a spare part, I would have to pay import tax on it, this way I won't

So I hope that the higher price on the winch will end up being cheaper by the time I get my new Ride, but I guess I will have to call my Danish car dealer and confirm the price.

i checked with them and they quoated me a price of 2100.00 installed.
hummer solutions sells it for 1497.00
http://www.hummersolutions.com/product_info.php/cPath/31_53/products_id/576
and east texas truck equipment was selling that same setup for 1295.00
http://www.easttexastruckequipment.com/
so you could contact them to see about shipping.
either or good luck and im sure you will enjoy the setup
