Hi,
I may sound as a stupid question but can a hummer be towed ? I'm at the momemt shooting some scenes for a crime series to be broadcasted on Danish National TV. Next week we will be shooting in Stavanger Norway using a hummer and we want tow it behind our camera car where the cameras will be mounted. Can this be done with out causing any damage to the transmission or diff box ? Thanks very much !

I tow my H2 behind our RV all the time. There is no problem at all. You have to put the key in the ignition and then start the engine then turn it off but do not remove key. This unlocks the steering. If you do all they said above and this you will not have a problem.

Read your manual for the correct procedure, there is no need to start the engine or leave the key in. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

...This unlocks the steering... </div></BLOCKQUOTE>Why would you do this. As Z said, even the manufacturer recommends against this.
