http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif Ok, I have had my H3 for a whopping 5 days. I currently work at FedEx Ground, (only until Friday-last day), I LUV my Hummer!! I have gotten some really rotten comments from the "Men" , Like "Oh you got the Goldilocks Hummer". "You bought the Poor Mans Hummer", "You actually bought the Slummer?", Now while most comments are positive, these piss me off.Do you think they are saying these things because I am a girl? Would you ever say this to another man? What would a good come back be? Thanks

Just laugh in their face. At least you have a ride that is worth noticing.

Sounds like it's just your co-workers who feel they can say stupid things and think it's funny.
If it doesn't happen elswhere I wouldn't worry about.
Buying the H3 has been the best advertising for my business. I have signs for my business on the side rear windows. Everywhere I go people ask me how I like the Hummer, then they ask about my business. Women smile, some men put their nose in the air because they don't have one. But overall always a great response. I did have an H2 owner snub me. He must just be an Ass as are your co-workers.
Pay no attention and enjoy your H3

It seems your job ending may be of more concern than what some jerk says about your Hummer.
Do you have something lined up? Just curious.

This may sound cheesy but just consider the source. Do you really care about their opinion?
All they want to do is get a rise out of you. Just give them your best GFY smile. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I don't see any logic in the word "Slummer" since it can cost up to $40,000. How much were the vehicles of those who made the remarks? What type of cars do they own? Some things don't even deserve a remark from you, you might even consider which of these people are really deserve your friendship, that they remark the way they do. You should consider what these people say to others as well as you, and determine if they are worthy of you. Loose lips sink ships; having a friendship with such people who fly off at the mouth for a little humor at the expense of others will eventually say something to get you embarrased just to be with them in front of others. Their loyalty lies in their childish ambition to get a laugh at any cost. I would avoid them whenever possible. It's a good thing Friday is your last day. These people sound like they are really bottom of the barrel; good riddance in my opinion.
Oh, and show me some picks!

It is because you are a girl and the guys who made the comments are just children. They just need a way to make themselves feel better--most men are *******s when it comes to women and vehicles.
The only negative comments about my Hummers--at shows and raceways all over the country--are from insecure want-a bees---really.
When a secure person does not like one my machines--they say--great work, just not my style.

I had an H3, for 6 months, and all I ever heard were positive comments.
In my experience, H3's draw more attention, than any other Hummers, because they are the newest and people are curious.
H3's are winners. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_cool.gif

Hummers obviously appeal to men on many levels - arg arg arg. My wife calls all Hummers, testosterone on wheels. I really have had very few negative comments, most negatives come from women about the angular styling that I like so much, but on the other hand everyone I have met loves the interior design. What it lacks in onboard carrying capacity it makes up in offroad performance, snow, and blasting through creeks. I think the Motor Trend video says it very well. I let the H3 speak for itself, particularly offroad, it's a ball!
