well, I picked it up on Tuesday and dropped it off at 4WP for two days. So far I have done the Rancho 4" lift w/ 9000X shocks, 35" procomp Extreme At's, Procomp rims, Locking Fuel door, SMA Exhaust (B&B) and had front windows tinted to 15%. I have only put about 200 miles on the truck and the lift handles OK. It corners well and takes on bumps better than stock at speeds lower than 45 and anything above is still OK, but not the same feel as stock. Time will tell on how everything works out. The AP and DP angles have changed quite a bit. I will measure once the lift settles in about 1000 miles. I really wish someone made fender flares for it as the tires stick out quite a bit. Other than that i love it. Here's a couple of pics with my progress.
enjoy.

There may be a change yet. 4WP has to drop the torsion bars back down and will require a diffent offset on the rim. So, there mey be a different rim yet.

Tim are you doing ladders to go with your gobi when u put it on>?
yeah looks good X2 had to post again after looking at it for the 396time.
timgco
12-11-2005, 02:00 PM
GOBI= SOON. Only a single ladder can be used and is on the DRSD. The hinges and handle setup kinda require it go where we have been mounting them. The ladder will be down the road once I have the new bumpers on. The new rear bumper pushes out the tire more as it uses the same style carrier that the 05/06 H2 uses. Than I'll put on a ladder that looks very close to the H2 ladders.
Thanks for all the compliments!

Sweet looking H3...why did you go from h2 to h3? How do you like your tires? If you get a chance to test them out let me know how they perform, as i still havent been able to really get mine offroad. For some reason pictures dont do those tires justice....they are much cooler looking in person.

I like the H3. VS the H2? apples to oranges.
The H2 is a fullsize luxury ride. The H2 is a midsize lux ride. They ride very different.
the weight is very noticable IMO. The H2 feels like it had more HP when accelerating form 50 and higher, but from a stop, the H3 seems to have more off the line until it shifts.
Other than that, no regrets do far.
Thanks,
Tim.

NICE. Reminds me of a Rottweiller. Have you had problems (discussed elsewhere on the forum) with paint spots after exposure to mud? How the heck do you go out in the desert in a black vehicle? Did you do the Rancho by yourself or had the shop do it? Why? (A friend of mine offered to help me mod mine but I saw the number of parts and could only think of the time I spent doing model airplanes as a kid...wait there's a part missing...so am considering having a shop do it.) Wow, so not only do you own every car, you can speak every language. I am so thankful of your wasted time.
This reminds me of the time I went diving near the Great Barrier Reef...(just kidding guys, I made that one up so I could feel important).
I think the term in psychology is pathological liar...
"Lying is a characteristic of several other disorders as well, such as conduct disorder (CD) and antisocial personality disorder (APD). CD, like many reports of pathological lying, typically has its onset during adolescence. Other behaviors may include inappropriate aggression, destruction, and serious violations of rules and laws. And, as suggested by some doctors, both pathological lying and CD may be caused by, shall we say, challenging situations in the home. Or by a lack of seratonin, in which case Prozac or Zoloft may help. Along with, of course, expensive sessions of psychotherapy."
Uh, oh...rough situations at home? Sorry 'bout that...

Wow, so you've just about conquered the world haven't you? And posting pictures of your house, nice buddy. Why would anyone need to post pictures of their house on an H3 website? What are you trying to prove? And yeah, you got me. I am so jealous that I can't be as cool as you. So what else did you major in? I bet you even have your PhD from Harvard don't you?
Dr. ZT

Rig looks great! Which SMA exhaust tips did you install? Did you cut the pipes and weld on or did they slide over and tack weld. May want to pick up a set.

First of all, I posted those pics long before the H3 forum even existed. They are still on the forum. You can find them by doing a search.
Second of all, I am not Badrap. What is your problem?
I have not received my doctorate (yet). I said I had a Master's. Know the difference? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>
Badrap?? Go check again, I think you've got some trouble reading...

The exhasut tips are the same ones that came with the whole kit. I am just going to have them modified with a clamp setup so they can be removed when needed. I'll post some pics when I get it done. ...next week I hope.

On another note, the rim/ tire issue came up again. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif 4.5" backspacing isn't enough for aring down. The sidewall of the tire hits. It actually binds up. So I am going to try a 4" backspace and see if that will work. Otherwise, the lift is coming off. I just wonder if I can fit a 35" tire on there without ripping out my wheel liners.
