After 5 months of waiting, reordering, and waiting, My H3 has arrived sticker price $36700.00 > 3 year lease 12000 miles yearly, inception fees first last payment down = $2489.00 and $575.00 per month. Aonther dealer in south Jersey is offering H3's on the lot for invioce. My dealer has no deals. I think this is high for the lease considering when I started shoping I could have the Jeep grand cheroke loaded with hemi v8, $550.00 per month and that was before the employee pricing that is going on everywhere with all American made vehicles, VW touregg with v6 loaded was $2000.00 down and $565.00per month. Thought those who are shopping could use this info. DID anybody get a better deal on lease I am not interested in buying only leasing. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

Have you checked out independent lease companies?

As I recall, $1,200 down, 24/mo, 12k/yr at around $425 was the best I saw. Now this also wasn't a fully loaded unit. I find it hard to pay these prices when a friend own who leases his loaded 05 H2 pays right at $600/mo and that was before the employee pricing.

If you financed $36,700 @ 5.75% for 72 months the pmt = $603.90.
If your putting 2500 down then $34,200 @5.75% for 72 months = $562.77
It is so easy for them to stick it to you when you lease...
Just checked the actual rates on Bankrate.com. 5.60 is the national average rate. So you could have a lower payment while buying than what the dealer is offering you to lease.
Yup.
$556/month
$0 down
Sticker $37,900

Sticker: $37,639
Residual: $27,240
GMAC 2 year lease "one pay" $12,465
This gives me the option to keep it or get a new 2008 with the LS7 option http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I was in Detroit last week and there was Hummer ads on the radio on 760 WJR. The lease deal was $2900 down and 295 month for H3 and the H2s were $5500 and $495 a month. It might be worth it to check them out. I think the one dealer was NOVI Hummer

I'm also in NJ, but I purchased my H3 from Hummer of Columbus in Ohio because they would accept my GMID certificate. I paid $665 up front (first month's payment and a couple of small fees which I can't remember right now) and my monthly payment is $534. This is on an H3 with an MSRP of $38,060 and a GMID cost of $34,755. The lease is for 36 months, 12,000 miles/year. My interest rate was 7.75% (this was through GMAC) and the residual is 64%.

Just be careful when dealing with Detroit Hummer (Novi Hummer is part of Detroit Hummer or so the salesperson at DH told me). Their customer service sucks and when I actually went in to see how much a lease would be on the H3- I was quoted $647 for an H3 w/sticker price of $35,550. 12,000mi/24 mos. residual of 74%. The other thing that ticked me off was that if I was going to use GMS pricing- they told me that I'd have to order my H3 and not take one off the lot.....

More leasing info, today I went to two more dealers now that I know what my dealer wants, I wanted to check what I could get walking in off the street, on a lease so I could chew my dealer down. Results > both dealers droped $1000.00 off list with out me asking, leases were in the $555.00 a month with 2499.00 down ( inceptions, MV, security and first month) if you shop it you can get a better deal, one dealer told me that if I get the H3 from him he would tighten up the lease # a little better than what he quoted me. Under $550.00 he implied.

Buy the way I did check out independent leasing and they are all theives, all were in the $600.00 a month and up to 640.00 I got my dealer to $555.00 and that will work for me, I pick up my bitch noon Tomorow. Happy trails.
And By the way the saying goes as follows

I was just going through some paperwork (quotes) that I got from 2 different Hummer dealerships. I don't know why I didn't notice this before. Both quotes are for a lease with 3 yrs/36k miles and both are for an H3 with the same options...LUX package, auto. trans, sunroof and XM radio. Nothing else added. Both dealerships have the sticker price at $35,550 however-
dealership #1 says GMS price is $31,836
and dealership #2 says the GMS price is $30912.08.
I thought that the GMS price was supposed to be the same at all dealerships http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif
