The piece that I have circled, what is it called? It just fell off of my truck yesterday while I was driving. Anyone ever have this happen or hear of it happening?
Thanks,
Pete

Nope, they break and fall off from time to time. Especially on trucks that are taken off road.

Thanks, Tech. I have only done a few mild offroad trips, all in soft mud, so I was surprised this happened. Do you know if there are any heavier duty aftermarket replacements?
Thanks,
Pete

You might check with "Energy Suspensions", they make lots of polyurethane suspension bushings and such. I know I picked up a set of end links made by them at O'Reillys once, and it included the whole part (center post), not just the bushings.

Hey Pete!
SMTBs...man that is weird. How random was that when it fell off right?
Does it affect the way the truck drives much?

I'm not sure how long I was driving without it, and it was all highway, so I don't know. I had the dearlership tow it in just to be safe.

Did you hear it call out, or feel it fall out? What does your truck have on it for miles? Sounds like this is a common issue...wonder if they might recall it after too many people have the issue.

Didn't hear or feel a thing. I have 8k miles on the truck.
