I was thinking of getting 2 PIAA grills to cover the factory fog lights.
The ones for the 540 lights are a little larger than the 5 inch hole.I was at a store today (ATV auto/truck/van) and they let me see if it would fit(they will have to order covers $15.00 each)
If I trim the back to make it flush and add a small strip of 3m tape they would sit adout1/4 to 1/2 inch from light and come out a bit further than bumper.
Any Ideas?
I thought it would look good and a cheap Mod.

Also to protect the lights from rocks Im getting blasted 5 or 6 nics in bumper 2 windshield chips and many nics in windshield.

I was actually thinking of replacing the fog lights with PIAA's or something, like what DRTY did.

I looked in find couldnt find anything on drty installation?
Anyone have the link or pics?

They also have a smaller 4.5 inch light There is a 1/4 inch or so gap around grill, thick double sided tape would fill it(or something simualar)n It might look better than the larger ones .They sit in flush to light and dont stick out past bumper?
It would look more like the ones on this H2

Hmm. I'm wondering if some "good" threads have been nuked in Jason's efforts to reclaim space for the forums. I recall such a thread but can't find it either. There's a slew of google site:elcova.com topic matches for all sorts of stuff I remember seeing, but which no longer exist.

That is the same as DRTY's setup. Haven't really looked to see if it would work with the H3, but I imagine it would.

Looks like drty used the 540 lights.

JohnnyRPM used the smaller 510 lights(the 510 lights piaa are white the 540 they are outlined) I found a thread where JohnnyRPM states he used the 510 ones.
It seems the 510 covers would be a better fit so not to cut plastic and the 510 's will be more flush to bumper, below is JohnnyRPM to compare.
