I live outside of seattle and I am not sure where to go to take my harmer for an off road test. I took it to the ocean and drove on the beach. This was very fun and pulling out cars was fun also. Any suggestions around seattle or even oregon?http://homepage.mac.com/christopherspencer/.Pictures/Photo%20Album%20Pictures/2005-06-27%2022.24.17%20-0700/Image-7C82B30AE79411D9.jpg

On July 9th a few of us are going to Brown's Camp for some wheeling. It's 35 minutes west of Portland. There are numerous trails with varying degrees of difficulties. DocHummer made a run down here for some BC action and he seemed to enjoy himself. I'd love to see an H3 in action so I hope you'll try to get down here.

Thanks. I would love to go. Can you email me more details, like physical address and time to meet?

Welcome! It's good to have someone else join the PNW ranks! Brown's camp is a blast. You shouldn't have any problems getting around down there in the H3. Drty does a great job showing you how to take care of yourself http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif What kind of rack do you have on top of there?

H3 Hummer,
Is that Ocean Shores? One of these days, we'll have to do a boys weekend up at my cabin in Leavenworth (If DRTY behaves), suck down a few beers and sit around lying to each other about the size of our "Hummers." The only thing down side is I dont have a clue as where to "wheel" around that area. There are some back roads that were very fun in the snow but I haven't come across anything that would excite the likes of DRTY or Doc.

What kind of Roof Rack do you have?
It looks good. Great place for a shovel too!

H3 hummer, can you post more pics of your rack set up on the truck please? That's the first rack I have seen on the H3.. other than the Gobi racks that will be done very soon. Please post some pics, that pic you posted looks great!

thanks for the info. I just put a Hi lift jack on the other side yesterday. I will post a picture of it later. Check out my website for more pictures now and in the future.
The rack is a Thule M.O.A.B. I used U bolts and rubbing tubing to anchor the shovel and Hi Lift Jack. They work just great and are cheap. Easy to come off also. Takes less then 5 minutes.

Not sure where ocean shores is but that picture is at Long Beach, WA. They have over 30 miles that you can drive on over there. Its pretty cool to know that with your Hummer you can go all the way out to the end of the USA and next stop is Korea. Also, its fun to drive, stop, hook up and pull out other 4 X 4's. I accidentally pulled someone's bumber out though.

That did it. You got some great shots there. What was the deal with the Trailblazer that everyone was standing around at the Hummer Happenings?

Yeah. It was for showing how to get out using a winch. Also, letting us know how easy some trucks get stuck. LOL
