Just received mine the other day.. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif What's with the stupid tool that is needed to install them (and drilling as well)? I thought these were screw and stick like the SUV guards... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

The only tool mine required was a torx tip for the two tabs that go inside the tailgate edge. The outside tabs on the outboard side of the lights were stick-ons.

You must have a different set? I got this set (http://www.truckxccessory.com/truckxccessory/rwst-rw605-1-bp.html) but I bought them from Trail Duty for a better price.

The latest versions of both SUV and SUT taillamp protectors require drilling rather than tape. This was because of the tape coming off -- especially on the SUT. I bought a pair for the SUV not too long ago, but I can decide if I want to use them or not -- still trying to decide about the look I'm going for (black versus chrome versus none...).

I've heard about them falling off. Knock on wood but I've never had a problem with mine and my truck gets plenty dirty and banged around. Guess I'm lucky!

MWAHAHAHAHAAHAHA!! You're right my friend! I just had the WORST migraine yesterday. It was all out, I thought I got bagged with the flew! Pretty freaky, but I bet it had something to do because of my lack of sleep.
