With seeing all of the stories of strangers hating the H2, I figured I would tell what happened to me this past weekend.
I was at the ocean for a fun (hot) day at the beach with the family. The way it works here is you set up your umbrella & chairs at the waters edge and then back your truck up to the dunes. At the end of the day, I pulled my SUT down by the water to pack up. I wasn't parked for 3 minutes when at least 10 nearby beach-goers came over to "inspect" the H2. I received nothing but positive feedback from everyone. Most people were impressed by how luxurious the interior was. I did get the mpg questions, which I answered honestly. Still nothing negative.
Here on Long Island I haven't received anything buy positive comments about my H2. Gotta love it here!

I agree. I've gotten nothing but praises and looks since I picked up my SUT about a month ago. A lot of people are shocked that Hummer makes a truck as they haven't seen one yet. It's amazing to me, since I've always tricked out my rides, that it gets so much attention in stock form. I can't wait to get some 22's with 37's on it.

I was at the local park last week. went on a stroll with the family, when we got back near the vehicles, this lady walked up and asked, "Is that your hummer over there?" I said yeah, and then she asked if her son could take his senior pictures with it? The question caught me by surprise... It was great watching him pose by the vehicle and all.... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I love those stories. Here on the "Left Coast" near LA LA land, I am getting about 10 negative remarks, looks, fingers! etc., to every one positive one. If it weren't for the sunny clime...........

I am in the Port Jeff area. We went down to Smith Point County Park in Shirley. They finally opened up some of the outer beach. If you fish, you can go all the way down to Moriches Inlet, about 5-6 miles down the beach.

The beach is open for about 1/2 mile after cut 2. It appears to be in pretty good shape.
