View Full Version : WTB H2 or SUT. Am I crazy to think I can get one for $42K?

Hey there, I am a H3 owner and I had it for 2 weeks now. I actually sold it today (due to the lack of power, and the fact that the mileage was roughly 13-15 MPG), so I am in the market again.

I WANT the SUT bad, but I think it is out of my price range. I really want either the H2 or SUT with a warranty. Preferably the 75K extended... Am I dreaming to think I will find one for around the $42K mark?

I would say to check eBay... I doubt you will find your price on a "new" one (without previous body damage...)

But, I HAVE been wrong once in my life! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Good luck...

I know I won't find an SUT, but how about a used H2 with 20K miles or less 2003 or 04, and a warranty to say 75k?

How about a '03 Pewter H2 lux. with 25k miles? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Extended warranty can be had...!

Why not try to find a base SUT with nothing, then use the employee discount, GM card( if you have it) and then the Hot Button Bonus Cash(if you have it). Also you could talk to your dealer and say, "hey, the '06s are coming out soon and these aren't selling well either, do you want to free up your lot, or not?"

Tim, I really like yours... It looks to be a good deal as well and has the warranty I need. Only problem is the from MA TO AZ thing... And convincing my wife that a H2 will fit in the garage!

I will pm you later on this one...

Thanks

I looked, and there are a bunch of H2 s available with 15-30k miles under $42000.

None near me, and NO SUTS at all... WTF?

First, let me start off by lobbing this (tried & true, but slightly old) Scud at you- I choke on small bones.

Second, I'm definitely a PITA, but I like to think of myself as The King PITA. So I'm very sincere when I say this- GFY, you little turd shuffler.

And lastly, you absolutely are one of those bottom-feeders that would sell your mother to make a quick buck. The idea that you took delivery of an H3 with no intention of keeping it for yourself but to only flip it for a quick buck is extremely distasteful(I'd ask you if you're familiar with that word, but after hearing about the things you put in your mouth with a smile I doubt it) to me and other true enthusiasts. But hell, $4000 for flipping a rig you had no desire of actually owning sure beats the piss out of giving all of those handjobs at the rest stop like you usually do- 2000 times.

I'm even more sincere this time(if you can believe it) when I tell you, again, to GFY!!!

So you think I went to through all the trouble of asking all the questions talking with Erin for 10 days and buying $3K worth of rims, and other items because I didn't want it? I want the truck... Just not that one. Why can't you accept that, and go OK, no problem Sir... That would have been better. I like this site, you like this site why cant you be ok with this?

You mad that you did not think to do that? I bought it thinking it would be awesome, guess what, it wasn't. I added the air filter thinking it would help the performance guess what, it didn't.

I want the blue, but I am not waiting amonth and ahalf. I ordered another Gray one, this time with the offroad package for the better gearing.

This would be much easier if in AZ, there was one to drive...

OK, here it is all truth, you want the facts verified ask KILLIAN, DeLEON (met both had lunch with both) or Erin at Sewill Hummer...

I owned a 2003 AMG Mercedes (350 HP SCharged V6) and sold it to a guy in KY, he then drove to Dallas, picked up my H3 and gave them a check for my Mercedes. He then drove my brand new H3 to me in AZ (Igot it with roughly 1K miles on it). I bought the K&N filter, ordered the chrome overlays (see posts if you want to) and the 20" MKW wheels. That exact day, on Thursday, I decided to buy the KMC wheels from a guy on ebay see link above. Thought I liked them better, I did not - OH WELL.

I met with KILLIAN Friday last week, and he said he was thinking of Ebaying his, I htought that sounded good. I paid $38200 for the truck, $2800 for the wheels $15 for the tint on the lights, $230 for the windows, tire cover ($90)$46 for the K&N that equals roughly $41,300. OH yah, and in the meantime, in the 2 weeks that I owned it, I sold the brush guard ($480), and traded the chrome wheels I had to Deleon for his non chromes ($600).

I sold the truck for $41,500 with 2000 miles on it. BIG DEAL... I have more money than I need for being 30 years old with no kids if I want to buy a car, and sell it my wife could care less...

I am still holding out hope that the offroad tranny will make an improvement. Either that or I am buying an H2 or possibly something different. I have owned 12 cars in the last 8 years, this being the shortest. It was also the ****tiest driving truck I have owned. It was also the coolest looking though too... If there was a blue offroad pack lux package right now, I would definitley buy it.

I do not think I need to say more, so this is my last post to say anything to you people that feel the need to tell me how I am - you don't know me.
