Hello all. I'm new to the site.
Picked up my 06 Twi-Maroon SUT about 1 1/2 weeks ago.
I love the truck! Like the saying goes, it's "Like Nothing Else".
I am frustrated with a current problem. I recently had one of the roof marker lights, second from driver's side, fly off while driving. I was going about 45mph on surface streets.
I've read some of the previous posts about leaking lights but nothing about the lights getting airborne!
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks for your time.

I keep getting a message that size of pic is too big.
Here's a cropped pic until I take some lower res pictures.

Resize your pictures to 700 pixels wide.
I would say that the clip inside the base of the light wasn't secured. Where'd the wire & bulb go?

Re-sized pics.
When I checked the opening, I was able to feel the plug and wire, but there wasn't enough slack to bring it up through the opening.

I'd put some Hurricane tape over the hole and head to your dealer tomorrow.

Can it be fixed without taking down the head liner???
It's an '06. Take it to the dealer and let them worry about it.
Thats unbelievable, Maybe if it wasnt snapped down tight to the roof it could come loose . But it shouldnt blow off it still wired! Either someone never put it together correct or you hit something and didnt realize it ??

Thanks for all the feedback.
I've contacted the service dept. and scheduled an appointment for this Saturday. Everything should go smoothly.
While there, I'm going to have them check the other lights, just in case.
Dug3x3, as far as getting hit, I know nothing's hit it. You do bring up an interesting point though. Do you know if those marker lights only snap into place? Or, are they bolted down to a bracket under the roof?
Once again thank you everyone.
