I am just wondering how a H2 pulls a load. I currently have a 03 GMC 3/4 ton crew cab pick up with the 6.0 eng and I pull a 28' race car trailer. I am wanting to get a H2 but I have never saw one pulling a trailer that big. All opinions welcome please.

Lee- I have pulled my 32'camper with my H2 and was really surprised how good it went. The best thing i noticed was the self leveling from the rear air suspension. I would suspect you would have no problem. Doug

The length's not the real problem it's the weight. The H2 has a poor tow rating. I pull a 20ft enclosed trailer with a weight of about 6000 lbs. No real problem except I cant open my rear hatch with the tire mount!

I had the same problem pulling the Scout cargo trailer. I had a custom ball mount made so now I can swing the spare out.. I pull the trailer on campouts through the woods and mud with no problem

I pull a 7000ibs boat/trailer. L.A to Vegas. 8-10 x year. I had to modify my H2 with Magnaflow exhaust, headers, air intake, throttle body spacer & chip. I have approx 400 HP. With air suspension, I zoom over the 4,500 FT passes at 65MPH - no problem. W/o Mods - top speed over the pass out of Primm, NV - 37 MPH in 1st Gear - OUCH. Now I am VERY pleased with the towing ability. Mods cost around $2,500.00 - BUT WORTH IT. Gas Milage while towing - 7.0 MPG. W/O trailer - to Vegas/back @ 75 MPH - 12.0 MPG
