I'm in just let me know when. I probably won't take my H2 because the trails are too tight for my comfort. I can probably get my buddy to take his 4runner or just ride along with one of you guys. They always close those trails for a few months during winter. Next weekend probably won't be good for me because hopefully we're going to be moving. HI, maybe we can do dinner this time. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Edit: here is a good map of the trail http://home.alltel.net/ezduzit/uwharrie.gif. I've been several times, so I can pretty much tell you where you need to go and where you need to stay away from.

This weekend isn't good for me either b/c I'll be in TX. So either the 10th or the 11th would be our only options. I have "Nutcracker" both days (2 shows on Sat. and 1 on Sun). If ya'll really want to go, I could get out of it for one day.

or

Is there another trail you know of? If the trails are to small for the H2, then I'm not sure Ken and CP would come.
I've looked her in SC and can't find much. My brother in law was talking about some place in Chesterfield. I'll ask him about it.

I'm interested, probably won't be able to go until January. Keep me posted.

Jeep-sized trails never stopped us before.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The only thing is timing, it's kinda soon and we need to speak with our secretaries.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I'm interested in Tellico, but I am unsure as to a winter closing or not. I didn't see one, but I will call Monday. But I kinda like to plan a couple of months in advance for a trip, do a little research and recon, figure out the trail stratagem, find were to stay, time to gather folks and have something to look forward to. You know, a little 4x4 foreplay.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gifhttp://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Bring warmer clothes.

This is my last build.... going a little stronger this time....and No those arent the H2 wheels I have for sale.

Dats noice.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif What size tires are you running?

January? Isn't that a little cold? I was thinking March or April. But that may work, I am anxious to try our lift. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

You are gonna freeze your ass off in that Heep. You're just using us for our seat heaters aren't you? Bastid.http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Bring a snowsuit.

That was on 37's. With a Dana 44 front and a dana 60 rear.

Currently in progress:
Dana 60 front and rear, spools, 5.38 gears, and a tire in the 38-40" range on beadlocks.

IF time and money allows, Im going to put a custom hood on it, lower the front body 1.5-2.5" for better visibility and stretch the tub 13 inches for a 106" wheelbase....and say goodbye to the top forever.

If you guys rather go in March, Im fine with that too. Tellico tends to ice up pretty bad in january.

This was my last trip to tellico...makin an assault on the big ledge on the right side of slickrock.

Nice. That looks fun. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Yeah, I would like to go in sweatshirt weather at least. That way we can hang out and play on obstacles and not rush to get in and out- and people could spot without freezing.

I'm not interested in wheeling in the ice, on the rocks I can't see, freezing my ass off spotting.... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

Nice wheels JT. We have a set of CHROME ones if you're interested. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif Only 3 hundred miles! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
