My kids can stop grieving over the loss of "their" Hummer. I picked this one up this evening. Lucky me it had Alcoa's and only 17K miles. Damn I wish i hadn't sold my 20" Lexanis, 3rd row bench, etc... http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif
BTW, I need a factory double brush guard (without or without lights) if anyone has one.

Congrats on the re-purchase....your case has helped reassure me that my nightmares of regret would come true if I were to get rid of the beast. Sometimes the temptations are great, but atthe end of the night when I look out into the driveway and see "Nikki" sitting there I realize that they truly are LIKE NOTHING ELSE http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Got that right! My only regret is that I didn't keep the thousands in mods!
Here's the rest of the story...
I actually bought a Lexus LX470 earlier that afternoon. While driving it home I realized that it didn't do "IT" for me. Also, when I called the wife and told her it was a Lexus, I could tell she wasn't too enthusiastic. So...I drove the Lexus back to the dealer, got my minivan back, and bought the H2. When I brought it home she didn't even make an effort to see it, thinking it was a Lexus. I forced the issue and when she opened the door to the garage, fireworks! The kids were screaming with joy as well.
Out of all the cars I've owned (about 24), I've regretted selling only two; one was a 356 Speedster and the other was the Hummer.

How long is it going to take you to get it the
way you want it to look like?
Look at it this way "you've got a blank canvas
to work with now".

I really miss my wheels! The Alcoa's are okay I guess. But you're right, half the fun the getting the stuff!

feel your pain on the 356...my dad gave me a 356 cab for my high school graduation, as it was his for a long time and I have always dreamed of owning one...anyhoo...long story short, 2 weeks later take it to dealer for oil and to checkcreaking in seat, and it gets stolen from the lot over night, to top it off, the next day when I arrive by a town car which I paid for to take me there, the dealership offers to drive me to the bus stop! I swear I thought I was going to **** my pants, I am usually not one to go crying to my father, but I wwas so appalled I had to, and finally he was able to drive down and handle things http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_mad.gif so the best week of my life wwent great, then it was followed by one of the worst...my little story

Trust me Porsche USA heard about this. They (the dealer) after being repromanded by PORSCHE, offered me any stock Porsche, no Turbo or any special models (GT etc....) at cost. I told them I didnt want to spend $80k to replace a car that was priceless to me. That car was in my family since new, and no 996 911 Carrera, as nice as they are, could replace it. Sometimes the things car dealers will do or say really amazes me, as a person who locates cars for people, I have yet to complete a deal where the dealership hasn't asked if they could tack on an extra 1-2k to the deal, and we could split it at the end. Every time I have rejected their offer and displayed my disgust, it seems like the days of doing honest business in this country are fleeting.

How do i get a picture to come out like yours. Big enough to actually see the rig. First thing I noticed is take it when there is more light. Pic are limited in size but Yours is big and You can actually see what it looks like.
It looks very nice I must say. You hit the jackpot.
Thanks
