well i just test frove an h3 with the adventure package and i must say i loved it! it was much smoother and more refined than i was expecting, i can definitely see myself driving it. so now i'm torn about what to do, i currently have a 2004 scion xb and a 2004 WRX, i'm been thinking about selling the WRX since i don't really care about fast cars much anymore and i just bought a boat and i don't have a way to tow it, my business partner has the truck so when i wanna use my boat i have to switch cars with him, so i would like something of my own to tow the boat. i'm just worried that if i sell my WRX and get the H3 i will miss having a fast car. ideally i'd like to sell the scion and keep the WRX and get an h3. but the scion payment is really cheap, so i could afford to have the WRX and h3 but i would rather not. so to get an h3 i will have to get rid of my wrx. so i'm torn about what do to. also the h3 i want could take 12 weeks to get. i want a black h3 with the adventure package in an auto, i don't want any other options

LOL, WHAT?!? It sounds like you don't REALLY want the WRX so maybe you could rent the H3 for a week and if the novelty doesn't wear off within a week you would feel better about a purchase. And I'm sure it would be nicer to use your boat whenever, rather than having to work it out with your friend. It seems that the H3 makes more sense anyway.

yes it's just the h3 is more expensive, i owe $20k on my wrx and it's worth $22k but an h3 is $33k

If you can afford the $600 or $700 payment, just get it. If the $22K that your WRX is worth is the tradin value then sell it yourself and you will have more down payment. If that is retail I would try to sell your WRX then order the H3. The factory is closed for two weeks starting I believe Saturday so the wait hopefully won't be as long if you order later in the month. Just my $0.02

well the h3 i want is like $33k and if i finance like $28k it would keep my payment under $450 so i wanna try to come up with like $5k for a downpayment

If you finance it for 60 months with 0% interest your payment is still going to be over $450 a month. You also need to keep in mind that there will be sales tax as well. You could go for 72 month financing but I certainly wouldn't recommend doing that. If you finance $28K for 60 months with a 5% interest rate your payment would be $528.39 a month give or take depending on if there are any other fees included.

well first i live in oregon so we have no sales tax http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif if i finance $29k for 72 months at 3.9% (which is what my credit union offers) my payment will be $452 a month

Got to love the no sales tax thing http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sounds like you have it all worked out then. If you can swing it, I would avoid going for the 72 month financing. Enjoy it when you do get it and post pics.
