Signal Mirrors:
I contacted Muth Mirrors to find out if they produce exact fit signal mirrors for the H3. These are the mirrors that have the red LEDs that act as a signal to let everyone know you are turning. At this time, they are not available; however, they are gaging the possibility of producing these for the H3 (they make them for the H2). Not a hard install, I have installed about six sets on six different cars for myself and others.
For those not familiar you can go to: http://www.kwmuth.com/. If you are interested, use the "contact us" form and ask when they will produce a set for the H3. Enough requests and they may jump on the project.
Rear backup sensors:
Anyone install microwave or ultrasonic backup sensors on their H3? I have been looking at some sets that have a small screen that displays the distance to an object, and also beep (faster as you get closer). Most require drilling small holes in the bumper and running wires to a module, then up front to the display. There are some that just hang below the rear bumper, but these would affect departure angles, and might just be left in Utah on one of my trips.
So, has anyone installed any of these sensors yet?
