Curious as to what this looks like. I like the look of the 22" with 37s, but I don't want the rubbing that others are having.

I am going to run 20's with 35's...ought to be slick! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif Plus I can still take the mofo's off road! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I think your right HT...those do look like 35's from here on the laptop. There are so many pics of the H2's with 20's that make me SO happy I didn't go bigger, or smaller than 20! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I saw a white SUV like yours the other day, and it must have had 26 or 28s...it was also dropped SLIGHTLY, and it looked really nice!

DAMN! That looks just like the one I saw - minus that spare.

I would be freaked about bending one on a lame ass bump, or curb, or something. Also you would need 20" breaks! http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

If I was going to bling the shat out of an H2, I would do an SUV, and go with 26's.

Strongly considering 18s now, but still would like to find some pics of some 20s with SERIOUS low profile Mud Tires like Nitto Mud Grapplers.

I have seen the 22s with 37s and the 18s with 35s, but have yet to see the 20s with Mud Grappler 35s. Anyone out there?

I have decided the best option for functionality and looks is to have two sets. I am going o keep my OEM wheels and put BFG Mud Terrains on them. Not sure what to get for the other set yet.

Im running the Kaotik nt-1 20x10 rim with the procomp xtreme allterrain 35x13.50. The width looks nice with the wider tire and rim combo and the tire looks nice with the cool sidewall pattern and it is quite aggressive looking for an all terrain(hence the name "extreme" all terrain)...much more aggressive than the nitto terra grapplers or the toyo open country a/t. I knew i wanted lots of pictures for comparison when i was shopping for rims and tires so here are some random shots:

WOW, I do like those AT tires! Nice job on the setup. Any websites that carry a good selection of those tires so I can see what sizes they come in?

you can do a search for Pro Comp Extreme allterrain, not to be confused with another tire made by procomp called xtreme _____? I bought my tires from a site called http://www.wheelsandspinners.com but they dont really have much info on the tires unless you call them directly. This tire is fairly new to the market so there is not alot of information on the web yet. I will tell you another pretty good looking a/t and its the mickey thompsaon atz. It comes in a 35x13.50-20 as well. I think the next size up is a 36x15.50 which i think would be too wide for a non lifted truck(buti could be wrong).

I found the specs here: http://www.procomptires.com/xtatapps.htm

Looks like you need a 10" wide wheel for all of the ones available. Counts me out...

Im not sure what your seeing, but on that chart the rim range for all sizes listed is 8in-12in so it looks like you can run this with basicly any rim you select.

Hey BH, does your whell/tire combo rub anywhere? If not, what are the specs on your rims? I want to do 20" wheels with 35s, but need help determining the widest wheel I should get and what the offset and backspacing should be. Thanks Bro...

It rubs very slightly only when the steering wheels is completely turned to the right while backing up...this is very slight.

Im not positive on the backspacing but i think its -4.5 and the rim is a 20x10. I made sure i had a 10in wide rim as the wider rim will make the tire seem wider than a smaller width rim. MKW makes a rim that looks very similar and it is a 20x11.

Size Matters....i just had to do it when i got my 20's. I cant think of any other truck it would fit better than a Hummer.

Can you please help me find the backspacing on your wheels? Web provides no help when I searched. Found lots of wheels like yours but no specs.

I am considering 20"x10"3 wheels with 4.25" backspacing. Do you think this extra 1/4 sticking out will cause rubbing on outside of tire?

tomp
12-05-2005, 12:47 AM
Found it: http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=wheels&view_mode=&ac...NT1&model_vehicle=H2 (http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=wheels&view_mode=&action=view_model&mode l=NT1&model_vehicle=H2)

So yours have a 4.25" backspacing. I was kind hoping that yours were 4.5, so that a 4.25" would cure the rubbing. Oh well, yours looks good!

Would you mind getting a clear pic from the rear and side of your H2 so we can see how far they stick out? It's kinda hard to tell from the pics above.

The rubbing is MINIMAL. They do stick out a bit, but i like the look:

I am finding out how expensive these darn 20" tires are today! Crap, any good online places to get them at DEEP discount?
