3K for a 1K install--guess they kept the 2K as insurance---insurance is $200.00

I know the local Hummer dealer here in town installed my SC on my 03 for $ 1,100.00. When I went in to talk to them about installing one on my 06, their new policy is not to install a SC without installing a Davis racing radiator and dual cooling fans. Total cost, around $ 11,000.00. I don't think so!!!!

MSeeb:

I have been on the road a lot. Please give me a buzz or a PM.

Still think the 3K is way high.

The standard Mag does not need the fans by any means ot the radiator.

I installed one here in Canada I currently work at a gm dealer. We charged 15 hours including A catback and headers @ 112.00 per hour plus parts. Cheaper than A local performance shop. As far as warranty coverage your dealer will be more inclined to help you when you need warranty if you bring him some customer pay work and dont just farm it all out to other shops.
