Wow, arrived at LBI Monday AM .... since I have been here I have seen 6 H2's on this little Island ... a black one from West Virginia, a green one from NJ ---- could not see the license plates on the others --- another black, two yellow's, a red or sinset orange, and one pewter ....

Anyone on this forum on LBI ?

I'll be here until Aug. 4 ....

LBI is kind of a hot bed of whatever is "in" and that's actually where I first saw an H2 on the road last August.
Saw at least 10 on a trip to the Outer Banks last week...

Was down in LBI again yesterday. Beach Haven Fishery has a yellow one. Saw a pewter and a black with, I think, GA plates.

Grim - spent a week in Kitty Hawk. Covered the island from Corolla down to Cape Hatteras light. Very nice and so much less crowded than places like LBI. We'll be back there.

Barnegat Light, NJ were we live here ....

It is ridiculous here with Hummers this Summer .... I have seen 14 now on this little Island !!!!! only two H1's ..... glad that we are driving my Mother-in-Law's Cad DeVille!!!!

No but I know where it is. I think there are atleast black H2 now in Toms River. I have lost count of the other colors. I go to Toms River Fitness and even at 530am there is a guy there working out at the same time with a black one. They are everywhere in NJ.

Also have a place in Hatteras. Was there on 4th of July. Only saw one other H2 form Nags Head to Ocracoke... it was black.

It must be the metro areas that have a lot oh H2, Our friends have a house on LBI and whatever is hot is always there. I saw about 10 2003 500sl's and 2 AMG's this year while we stayed there over the 4th

Yes, lots of SL500's .... also lots of Honda Elements, BMW Z4's, and C Class Conv's .... but saw even more Hummer's today .... dark blue H1, trackerschool.com silver H1 (very nice and awesome), red H2, two more black H2's, and my first pewter H2 ... all this AM in a matter of a two hour walk in the Surf City area.

I realized after I posted that you did not have your H2 when I saw one at Dillon's - it was back in June. Whatever, I see several around the area.

As for LBI - as I said at the beginning of this thread - you'll always see plenty of toys down there - when the new Beetle was hot LBI was wall-to-wall with them.
There is an H1 down there with "TONKA" on the lower body sides.

I also saw the H1 with tonka and a couple of H2 all hooked up. I saw a yellow one with a custom exhust system and it sounded really good. I know about those beetles the are really everywhere. Very cool car for a young girl I must say. Are H2's big near you? W

Another H2 arrived yesterday ... a really nice pewter H2 on 27th Street, Surf City, New Jersey, directly across the street from me .... just unbelieveable how many Hummers there are on this little Island .....

I hope you enjoyed your stay at the Jersey Shore. LBI is a great place and we go a few times a year with our friends and stay at their house. Have a safe trip home.

Thanks for the good wishes for my "very long" trip home on United .... something is going on at United !!!! Not good either ...

Anyway, to answer your question, yes there are lots of H2's in Northern California, but they are not as "confined" as LBI. You do not notice them as much here as you do on LBI ....

Had a great time there, and I will be back next summer ....

Sheeesh - I saw 4 or 5 in and an H1 in less than 2 hours on the island today. Two greens, a white, a yellow. Silver H1 open back. Oh, one of the greens was actually at the Caddy dealer on Rt. 72 - not on the island.

I believe that the silver H1 open back belongs to Tom Brown's Tracker Survival School (http://www.trackerschool.com) --- He has a new one each year or so ..... I believe that AM General gives him the vehicle to use at his school. His customer's are people who can afford and use a Hummer. Great marketing for AM General ....
