My realtor wants to sell me another house and I haven't even made the first payment on the lastone she sold me. The big concern is that I actually saw this one before buying it, I have never done that before and I think it bad luck to look at a house before you close escrow. what do you think?

Aw hell - buy it! You can never be too rich, too thin, or own too many houses.

The first house I bought, I actually looked at it about 15 minutes before making an offer, The tenants trashed the place, quit paying rent and I had to evict them.
The first one I bought with out seeing, I got a doctor to move in the day after I sign the offer, She moved in before I even saw the place and its going well.

If you know the area and what repairs can cost there is not reason to see the house before hand. A buddy of mine has probably bought 20 houses in the past few years without looking at them. He knows the area very well and can pretty much nail it on how much it would cost to totally redo the place. He owns a little over 100 doors so he has practice at it. And to think, he used to be a high school football coach.

Good luck. Real estate is one of the best investments if not the best. Got several friends that are making an absolute killing over the past few years. One friend has bought and sold well over 500,000 square feet of property in the past two years. The best part, most were purchase with other peoples money. Hardly risked a dime of his own.
