I tried a search and got only part of what I'm looking for. I want a H-Cam Camera only and not the complete kit (sans monitor). I also want a GM touch screen interface so I can see the rear objects through my TNR screen.

Anyone know where I can get these? I found the H-Cam all over the web but I only want the Camera piece that replaces the center parking light.

I contacted HitchCam (last year) and was told they only sell the H-CAM as a kit which includes the monitor. I decided to use an Eclipse BEC104 and made a mounting plate myself. Works great...

That's fantastic Mark! Is that Eclipse part avaiable in the states or is a JDM item? Also, are you running the video from your Nav or a separate monitor?

Partsguy,

Yeah, I know...that was retarded. Some times it's easier for me to call it a "thingamajig."

Kacyk,

I have it connected to an Eclipse Navigation headunit (AVN8804HD). There are actually 2 versions of the camera: The BEC104 is intended to connect to Eclipse headunits and the BEC104G has an RCA composite output so can be connected to any video input. The BEC104 is listed on the US Eclipse website, but I'm not sure if the BEC104G is available in the US... For your reference the price here (in Japan) is a little over $200.

Not sure how to make it all work with the TNR but you can get the H-cam with or without monitor at http://www.trailduty.com/products/hitchcam/hcam.html.

I bought a Hitchcam (and a few other add-ons) from Trailduty. Good prices, fast service and shipping. The cam/monitor setup was hundreds of dollars less than the Hummer dealer and the service was a whole lot more pleasant, too.
