For those who have rotated there tires, how many of you threw the spare tire in the mix. Please let me know your opinions. http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Personally, I never rotate the spare, but that is against what they specify. I will say that if you only rotate the four on the ground; you do not have to relearn any tire pressure sensors. If you put the spare into the mix, you have to relearn sensors, since the spare is a new sensor to the system.
For a 4-tire rotation, rears go straight forward, and fronts go to the rears diagonally.

I do the same. If I'm in a pinch and need the spare, I prefer to have one in reserve that hasn't been used.

My wife backed up a 12" wall on the sidewall and put a couple slits in the left rear tire.(poped right up the wall about 5 mph).
I had the tires rotated at 8,400 miles and didnt trust it moving up to front.(my wife hooks the corners fast).
As f5 said the sensors had to be reset.
I acually left dealer got the message on display went back and they said. "do you have ez pass" and told me that it messes up the reset.removed ez pass and they got it right.I think they forgot and blamed ez pass.

That's what I was leaning toward, keep the spare on the back. Thanks for your replies
