I've read several posts regarding superchargers for the H3 and I am still left with many questions. I'll keep this topic to under 5 questions for starters.
(Please keep in mind that I am a neophite when it comes to this type of performance upgrade.)
1. Are there any other H3 superchargers actually available in North America besides http://www.rksport.com/product/p_25091000/view_detail? I've found a couple companies that claim they are in the process of producing one but am having a hard time finding one currently for sale.
2. Would a supercharger from a German company work domestically? This company http://www.GeigerCars.de has made one that reportedly pumps out 325hp (http://www.worldcarfans.com/tuners.cfm/TunerID/7050906.001/hummer/1.html). Which brings up another question . . . can anyone read German?
3. I live in Buffalo, NY - not a whole lot going on around here. How would I go about finding a company that can/will do the installation?
4. Are there any other modifications necessary when adding a supercharger? I've read that the increased power/torque will cause additional strain on some stock components and they may not be able to handle it.
Any input you may have reagrding this topic would be appreciated.
Thanks.
