Click on the FAQ in the left sidebar, scroll down to item #14 under service bulletins and click on it. The service bulletins were posted by Klaus and Jason moved to the FAQ section.

Important
For easy access to center console and I/P removal, the front seats should be removed.

Loosen the locking hex screw that fastens shift lever to floor console shifter.
Loosen screws that hold front trim panel and remove from center console.
Remove hinged arm rest cover from center console.
Remove top panel from center console.
Remove storage bin screws and remove storage bin from center console.
Disconnect electrical connections to center console end cap and unscrew from center console
Remove screws holding center console to center console bracket.
Remove center console.

This is the proceedure from the service manual. Sounds like a lot of work.

Be sure and pull the fuse for the amp before disconecting the plug on the harness and leave removed until the harness is reconnected. I remember someone saying they blew the amp by not pulling the fuse for it first.
