BY FAR, those are some of the coolest pics yet! can you tell us more about how many miles, how long it took, and anything else about these places? GREAT PICS!
Also, what winch mount do you have. I think that's the WARN 9500 you have mounted to it.
Who makes your tent setup for the roof. Very cool also.
Thanks for posting.

Very cool pics, thanks for sharing. Like Tim said, can you also share a trip report. I noticed in one pic it looked like there was no tag on the H3. Did you make that trip with a temp tag? http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

The trip took 2000 miles from the city I live, Valencia.
Here is some info of La Gran Sabana http://www.thelostworld.org/intro/intro.htm
I designed and made the winch mount at my company (http://www.indumoca.com) and you are right, the winch is the Warn 9500 si.
i setted up the roof tent from the Thule rack system application for the H3
And Thanks for your comments.......

Hey X Racer,
Which way did you down. The reason, I asked is because I heard horrible stories driving down thru Mexico, Salvador or even Guatemala. Especially driving in a 2006 H3 that most people never seen. I bet you were kind a worry about this trip. Safety wise.

The trip was easy to me, because I live in Venezuela and it has been a great destination for us since 3 years every january. It took only 2000 miles in 8 days of trip.
You are all invited to do it, because there are a lot of adventure travel companies here.
Otherwise, I´m considering to manufacture the winch mount to export to USA. I will find costs on shipping and keep you all advised.

Wow.
Please tell us about your vehicle. Did you purchase it in U.S.? Is it the Adventure Package? Any add ons besides the winch? What problems with the H3 if any did you encounter on the trip and how did you over them? Did you have to cross water? Thanks. I lived in Caracas for a year as a kid. Good memories especially of trips to the coast (good food).

I bougth the H3 in Miami, and shipped to venezuela into a 20Ft container. I had to pay almost $ 16K in shipping and local taxes http://www.elcova.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif
It`s the adventure package with 5 Sp manual trans and sunroof. I had to wait 7 weeks for the delivery to Miami and 3 more weeks to Venezuela. It has some adds like the rocker panel protection, brush guard, Warn 9.5 si winch, Cobra 75 w CB radio with firestick antenna, Garmin GPS Map 76 cs, seat covers, rubber mudder mats, trailering pkg and soon the Pirelli Scorpion Mud 285/75-16 tires, now in initial production.
No problems encountered on the trip and the H3 was the most photographed truck !!!
