Hey All,
Just broke down and bought a Kenwood DDX 7015 in dash DVD screen and the Kenwood KNA DV 4100 navigation for our beloved H2. Also to this I am installing a back-up cam so when I engage Reverse the screen comes up with the rear view. Might help the wife in maneuvering the beast. Just looking to see if anyone has any comments on how these units work and if anyone has this exact same set up. I will post pictures when install is completed.
Thanks in advance
Jonathan

I had the Pioneer N1 in my 2003. It worked well, but I didn't care for the asthetics.

I had the pioneer in my Z....I will never install another motorized flip out screen if I have a double din opening....A screen like you choose is cleaner looking in my opinion...plus it doesn't have all the wear out problems a flip out incurs

Do your steering wheel controls still work?

I installed the factory touch screen Nav w/XM tuner & 6 CD changer. All steering wheel controls work as designed but with aftermarket units it is very ifffy. The factory setup was actually cheaper than the aftermarket. Of course I did the labor but it looks just like new from the factory.

I would definitely go with the Alpine Units. I have had them in 10 different vehicles of mine over the past 8 years and have to say they are hand down the best. They do the highest quality and the newest technology. As long as price isn't an issue, they have no competition. Go to www.alpine1.com (http://www.alpine1.com) to see the IVA-D901 and NVE-582A multimedia controller and nav unit respectively. I can assure you that you won't regret the decision!!

I have the exact same Kenwood setup w/ nav and a backup camera. I still have use of my steering controls and I really like the entire package.
