View Full Version : New shoes for ETD...
Call me sentimental but I had to go for made in "USA". They ride real nice. I like the sound (noise?) they make in the cabin. Not too loud and reminiscent of the background noise on a jetliner. Ready for take-off!!

What tires are those ETD?
Oh, sorry, forgot. They are Interco's Super Swamper SSR LT285/75R16's.
I think they'll do for going to the mall and such...;)

nice, I think I'll be getting the superswampers next. I like tread especially with all the mud in the south.
Aww, the mall was closed...
They worked well! :D A hill that gave me some trouble due to slippage with the OEM A/T's aired to 20psi was little trouble today with the SSR aired down to 30psi only. I even managed to find the only mud hole in West Texas. (Don't you all laugh:( )

According to a previous posting of a tire spreadsheet (thanks guys), the tires should be "33's". I did not get the 35's as I did not want to find that they exceeded the engineering specs of the H3's while on the trails as someone here had postulated. Again, not having owned a jeep and such before, the "whine" is not unpleasant to me. I am thinking airplane cockpit noise ( very masculine ;) ) but reduced by 60% in decibels. Interestingly but I supposed logical is that when muddied, the "whine" was reduced!

Will be fishing NM in a couple of months so I'll let you know.

PM me when you get close, nice sand, rock area close by to run on. See i have a base unit too and I am afraid of the 35's without the adv package.

Awesome EDT. You already have the best color... now you have the best tread too! I'm going to look into doing something like that (bigger tread). I like the fact that you used 33's. That's what I want to do too.
