View Full Version : 22" KMC Backseat & Nitto Terra Grapller 325/50/22
Please don't try to install KMC Backseat on H3 because it hits the front brake caliper.
What I have done to make them fit is to put a 5mm spacer and cut a wheel a little. :D

Wow.. Looks Sharp! How's the road noise? Been thinking about Nitto. Glad to hear that you made it fit :D
The road noise is not so big. I feel that it's the same level as the factory one.

I like the look, but prefer 20's myself. I drove the dealer's H3 with same tire in 20", road noise, handling and ride was good. Planning some other mods soon?

You have the exact look I wish for! Is there any rubbing at all with the 325s and 22s??? Even at full lock, turning left and right?
Any problems with driveability or the gearing, etc? I think your setup is like 2 inches taller than stock? maybe more?
But in the end, it is one AMAZING RIDE!!!

I adjusted the front torsion bar with 2.5 turns and lifted the front about 1 inch. With that setting, 325s slightly rubs against the front bumper only at full lock.
So far, there is no problem with driveability, gearing and braking.

Thanks, BB. Would this wheel/tire setup work if you did not adjust the front torsion bars to lift it an extra 1 inch?

It should be OK, it just rubs a little more.

Looking good BB, I don't usually like 22's on a H3 but well done with the color at type of tire :) I have the same width (325's) Grapplers myself with 18's and they rub only at full lock out.
BTW my wheels hit the front calipers too we ground down some of that huge protrusion on the front of the caliper and painted them black.
