I figured someone would notice:D . I did the spare first then decided I liked the other way better. At least I'll know which ones the spare:rolleyes: . I painted them with the ever popular truck bedliner. Holding up great so far.

Nice !

Is that the Stealth low profile model? I like the ladder too.

How much does the front of the rack stick up above the roof? I have some garage clearqnce issues at work I am concerned about.

It's the stealth, it sits 6 1/2 inches higher than the roof.

I bought the front ones here

The rear ones are just from Pep Boys. I wired them all under the plastic roof rails to the tail lights.

Do it, they are great, still no flaking or real damage. Some a-hole let his dog piss on one the other night and still no damage:beerchug:

There are metal plates that wrap around the top and bottom of the door that you bolt to. No drilling into car. Plenty strong, I walk the the a few times a week.

Can you post a pic of the mounts? I'd like to get an idea of how they are mounted because I'm trying to mount a ladder to my truck...

Thanks!

When the sun roof is open, do you notice the rack there a lot. Has it impacted your MPG at all. I am doing my wheels like that this weekend, with the new Toyo 35s installed.

What sort of prep on the wheels did you do, prior to painting with the bedliner material. ????
Any specific brand you used. They look really good..

You won't have to worry about the rack killing your mpg. The 35's you will though.

I lost about 1/2 MPG with a full size GOBI and lights. I love it, would do it again....... but be prepared for alot of wind noise with sun roof open. Sounds like Rita knocking again.:p
