Here are some pics from Websters Pass in Colorado. Woulda posted sooner, but my wife took her camera to her family reunion in Durango last weekend.

We ran this trail in my 4runner. Wasn't anything extreme, but it's a lot of fun wheeling in the rain. Keeps all the dust down :D

This pic looks up the trail toward Webster Pass. You can barely see the last switchback heading up to the Divide and all the drifts we hoped weren't covering the pass (Turns out they were).

Here's my wife Julie and step-daughter Alex (andra). This part of the trail is almost always flooded.

There go the girls taking a potty break ;)

Here's my rig ... a 2000 4runner sport. All stock and not many options, but has about 9.5" clearance at its lowest point. Sure miss my blazer, but it does pretty well in its BFG ATs.

Here's my wife and me and a good shot of the pass. Red Cone is on the right. A sweet trail runs on top of that, and comes down to Webster pass, but I'm waiting for the pass to melt before I try it.

Huge mounds of rock line the path. Don't know if they're from erosion or mine tailings.

On our way up toward Webster from the east, we took this shot of the valley behid us. Red Cone is to the right.

On our last switchback, a dirt biker coming down the trail said the pass was still snowed in, so we found a turnout and came back down. Got this shot of the stream for Alex. She thought the stairsteps were cool. It's like the clay has been crystalized into these steps from all the minerals in the water.

Another shot on our way out at the bottom of the trail. That little stream of snowmelt and rainfall turned into all this only a few miles downstream.

You know, we sent Christine to check it out and she never came back. :D

Never noticed that. I blew up the original pic and I think it's a stump. The H3 should be here in mid to late August according to Al Serra. But I hear there are plant delays that could set it back.
