Looking to get a set of 315 75R 16 Toyo Open Country A/T tires. Anyone have 35" tires on their rig? How do you like them and have you had any issues rubbing or drastic MPG changes etc...In addition, I do not have the offroad package will this create any issues with this size tire? Should I go with the 295's? I would go with the M/T's but they are too far out of my $ range. Then adding the Rocky-road outfitters super-slider rock rails.

Try a search in the technical thread. There are a few people with 35's. Some with Toyo Open Country M/T, some with BFGoodrich Mud terrain, bfg all terrain, and a couple w/ Goodyear MT/Rs. Some have reported no rubbing and some have reported rubbing only at full lock in front and full compression in back. Most have done the 2 1/2 torsion bar adjustment. (search for this too) Most people with the toyo m/ts have praised how well they do off road and also how quiet they are on road.

Yanni - take a the Cooper Stt or the Pro Comp Mud Terrain. Both are siped tires and cost substantially less than the Toyo's AFAIK. I am very impressed with the Coopers.
I run 315's (35") on my H3 and have very slight rubbing on the sway bars but thats it.

Lotus is running the Coopers in 35"s and they look great. They did great in Tellico as well. As far as rubbing goes, I get it with my 33"s, oh well.
