Went to the local supermarket and came out and oh my, another FJ parked next to me. The owner was kind enough to stand around waiting to tell me how wonderful it was ...blah.... blah... blah... I think he was dissappointed I did not have time to agrue or desire30715

No comparison, as far as I'm concerned. Why did he want to do that to himself? :giggling:

Aaaahahahahahahahah Thats funny. I was in Moab in May and this guy parked next to me at City Market, got out, looked at my H3 then looked at me and just sort of smirked and laughed as he walked by and "chirped" his FJ. So I said to my wife loud enough for him to hear, "Honey, did you know they started making the Pacer again?" He stopped smiling. :dancingbanana:

I'd rather have a ford pinto than an fj cruiser, what a mistake!Toyota trying to compare this P*O*S* to the FJ-4O
I really wanted to like this 4by, I made no judgments until I was able to get a closer look. ---CRAP--- my final conclusion!
The exterior: ugly, cheap, poor attempt in making a 4x4.
The interior: ugly, very-very-very cheap. if any of you ever get the chance to sit in one of these, --do it-- the interior of the H3 is far superior in every way! The only thing I can say that is a positive, is the engine that's all! this 4by falls waaaayyy short of any Toyota that I would ever own.
It angers me greatly that the fj cruiser owners have the audacity to try to compare this feeble attempt of a 4x4 to the H3. WHAT A JOKE!
I hope that someday I will meet one of these on a trail somewhere and show them whose boss!

Everytime I see an FJ, my copilot and I scream out in agony. I was in Lancaster today, and saw so many of them floating around (auction). What an eyesore!

:iagree:
When I test drove one, I noticed the same thing ... VERY poor visibility out the back and rear sides (to clear blind spot) and ony a little better out the d/p windows. The only really good thing about the FJ is the drivetrain. The rest is :lame:

The drivetrain is good? I'm not getting it. It has the turning radius of the Titanic with an iceberg stuck on it and it has a peespoor crawl ratio. Two things I like a lot for an "offroad" vehicle is those two. H3 has 'em, FugginJunk don't. PLUS, to stack 35"s on 'em, you have to lift it. There goes another fourwheeler's attribute that I care for, the sidehill capability. So, you take away the crawl ratio, the tight turning radius, and the side hill capability from an H3, add ugly retro Pacer looks, and you getcherself an FJ.
