Thanks to Dennis in Leduc for digging up this article I did with Robin Summerfield, c/o CanWest News Service for the National Post. To think it all started with a fellow Hummer owner breaking down on one of our local road ways.

Interesting article.
Too Bad, that some people are so deranged that they need to set up websites to complain and bash objects of possession.
I noticed though in the article that some of the information was not true.

The Humvee, doesn't have armor. Bullet proof glass I don't know for sure? Where did that info come from?

I have a good friend who just returned from Iraq, and told me that this misnomer is ever widespread, but every model from the M998 and up, have no armor. Only recently with the IED problems in Iraq did the new M1114, begin production to address the problems of the armor issue against IED's.

Second, when did the H3 go up in price to start at $40,995?

I believe that's canadian dollars. and you're right about the armor. that is put on after it is received from the factory.

Mudderducker, thanks for the clarification of the price. I should have caught that since it was a Canadian article.

Let me ask you, since it caught my eye. Is that a real town in TX? Milf?:D

Sounds like a wonderful place.:perfect10s:

:D YES, it is a real place; but not by name. more commonly known as Frisco, TX. all the hotties from Dallas lasso thier catch, get married, then move to the burbs north of Dallas. Boobjob, TX didn't have the same ring to it.
