View Full Version : 35" Toyo's Installed
Just got these installed today, now all im waiting for is the gobi rack, and rock rails. The torsion bars have not been turned, but i think they need to be because the front looks so low now.

Ive only driven the truck about 40 miles since installed, but have noticed no rubbing issues. The tires are Toyo Open Country M/T's, 315/70/16

You are going to have one excellent ride when you are done.
Keep posting photos at each stage.
How's the road noise with the new tires?

The road noise sounds the same as stock, which suprised me. The only thing i did notice is it rides a little firmer, but i think that is due to the tire pressure.

Your ride is getting ready to kick some serious AS5!!
I'm very shadowGreen with envy!
I better get my butt in gear with the mods.
But dam-it I'm still waiting on Amstar and Rough Country!
You should hold out like I am for the Amstar rocker protection steps!
Aren't those LT315/75R16 127Q ?

Thanks for the compliments, yea the tires are 315/75/16 my mistake. I looked at the amstar but it appears they're just the factory steps brought higher up and closer to the truck. I decided to give the rocky-road ones a go, hopefully ill have them in a week or two.
I don't have anything against the Rocky Road protection they look like they will stand up to anything, but it should be made clear that the Amstar steps are serious rock sliders too and designed to serve both functions. I've heard others with the same doubts, that's the reason I thought I should say something.
Check out this site and click on all the Wilderness Ready links:

If they wait much longer I will definitly go with Rocky Road.
Either way you will be ready to have some serious fun with that truck and maybe break a front dif if your lucky :D
