Primarily a noise related issue.
(Now you guys know why I never opted for these lights:jump: )

You probably want an '07 - damn long wait

I traded in my base '06 for a adventure '06, the dealership installed the marker lights on the adventure and they seem fine - so far - knock on wood...

I got the adventure about a month ago, it was on their lot.

I have an 06', which I added the marker lights to after purchase.
They siliconed the lights and I've had no noise since...
They look great! I think they should be a HUMMER standard!!!

Nothing official, just an assumption looking at them. Besides, I didn't see any value add for the price, and didn't like their looks.

Why can't five seperate amber sight be installed instead of the big plastic shroud? They would look better and less problem with wind noise.

With that said, how would one get into the inside roof area and wire them in? What color wire to attach to?

Separate lights would require separate holes. If a person wanted to drill the holes in the roof, you could probably use any clearance lights made.
Pull the headliner down in the front, run the wires over to the A-pillar to bring the light wires inside.

I agree with Ground. GM should have just installed the lights directly to the roof individually just like the H2. The H2 never had the noise issue. While they were at it, they should have added the rear marker lights too.

i've seen one H3 with do-it-yourself marker lamps, not using any kind of black plastic bezel...looked different, but not bad..
