Im trying to get ideas of how to mount fog lights on the roof. I have a yakima rack and just need some ideas how to outfit it. Whether it is of a light bar or rack with attached lights I would like to see. If your rig is outfitted with aftermarket lights on top please post your pics. Thanks!

Sweet ride! What kind of light bar is that? Similar to XTC? Do those smaller lights help alot in the pitch black compared to the big round ones? Also if you dont mind me asking what is the price for that light setup?

I have the SMA light bar on the front of my H3 along with the stock fog lights and grille lights.
I do, however, use lights on my Yakima rack on my 1997 Ford Explorer Sport. I got this Yakima product a million years ago called "Light-Bar Bracket". The part number was 7008 1/91. I don't know if the 1/91 is part of the number, a date, or something else.
Anyways, it is a flat strip of metal, approximately 8" in length. There are 4 holes in it. The two inner square holes attach to the accessory clamps that go around your round Yakima bars. The outer holes are for mounting lights.
Because of the short length of the bar, you may want to have two bars or have the one bar centered on your rack.
Let me know if you want some photos of the bracket or the instruction sheet. I can try to get to it this weekend. (Damn I wish work were 2 days and weekends 5.) I don't use the brackets full-time as my normal PIAA fog and driving lights are on the brush guard. I mainly use it when camping as it provides me extra light at the rear of my vehicle when packing/unpacking in the dark.

Thanks, the light bar is XTC with 4 PIAA 2100XT driving lights and yes they pack a lot of light into those little lamps. I will be adding PIAA 2100XT fog lamps to brush guard later. The bar with the lights was $700, not bad considering the lights themselves run almost $400 and they are fitted into the bar for a super clean look.

Paul,
Do you get any glare from that set up?

No glare but the focus pattern of the four lights is very tight even at 100'. They are plenty bright that you get some spill but I will be adding 2 PIAA 2100 fog lamps to front that have a much wider beam focus.
Here's a newer pic from back with Hi-Lift Jack, Ax, and Shovel.

I have the SMA light bar on the front ...
Below are a couple pics of my SMA bar and switch. The switch (http://www.elcovaforums.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=32106&d=1161440103) is a two position switch, but I didn't have another $900 to add a set in the rear (and blind those tailgaters).
Anyone else running the SMA bars?
Anyone running the SMA bar in the rear?
Anyone reduced or increased the bulb wattage?

Very nice looking, only one problem that I see... no dirt on the HUMMER :D
I installed the switch in the factory location on the Radio/HVAC console. There are two unused button holes (have plugs in them from factory) and these are for factory roof lights and factory grille lights.
